It all started in 1921 in the auld fishing toun & Royal Burgh of Dysart in Fife. Butcher William McMillan began selling his homemade products door to door on a handbarrow. This hard work and dedication led to running a small bacon works. From humble beginnings, and as his food business grew, so did McMillan’s reputation across the nation for honest, quality, family favourites. 100 years on, we no longer have the handbarrow, but McMillan's is still proudly a family company and shares the same values & ethos that we began with all those years ago.
